NetMinder Subscribers Run 100,000 Reports in 2016

MIAMI, January 4, 2017 – NetMinder, the leading provider network comparison tool powered by The Ignition Group, logged more than 100,000 reports in 2016. The reports helped users compare provider networks to win new business, retain existing clients, and fill gaps in their networks. 

Fall Update Shows Increase in ECPs and Other Medical Professionals

The fall update of dental, vision, medical, and behavioral health provider networks was completed in November. The number of eye care providers participating in networks increased 8% over the spring dataset. We also saw a 3% growth rate for other medical professionals, including nurses, therapists, and behavioral health providers.

  • 839,500 doctors 
  • 208,000 dentists 
  • 63,000 eye care professionals 
  • 819,000 other medical professionals (e.g. nurses, therapists) 

NetMinder’s comprehensive network comparison data is updated twice a year, which entails collecting provider information from more than 425 networks nationally, validating the data accuracy with a comprehensive audit process, standardizing the data, and matching provider records across networks with a proprietary multi-step recursive algorithm. Miami, November 14, 2016 – The Ignition Group announced a significant enhancement to NetMinder, its industry-leading provider network comparison tool, at the National Association of Dental Plans annual CONVERGE meeting: NetMinder now includes an exhibit that evaluates the relative strength of selected provider networks in specified ZIP codes and the radius around them.

“Network strength is more than meeting a minimum level of access. Employers and employees want choice and convenience in their benefit plans. More providers are participating in networks than in the fall: the number of doctors increased about 4%. We saw an increase of 32% for other medical professionals, including nurses, therapists, and behavioral health providers. The new data is available to subscribers.

Demand for Provider Network Data Increased 13% Over Spring 2015

MIAMI, October 15, 2015 – NetMinder, the leading provider network comparison tool, powered by The Ignition Group, has completed its fall update of dental, vision, medical, and behavioral health provider networks. The number of networks analyzed grew by 13% for this update compared to our last data update in March 2015, reflecting the increased interest in provider networks due to the Affordable Care Act exchanges. Additionally, more providers are participating in networks than in the spring: the number of doctors and other medical professionals increased 4% and the number of dentists increased 9%. The new data is available to subscribers.

  • 56,500 eye care professionals
