The Network Analysis Pyramid
Provider networks are where the rubber meets the road for health insurance companies, employer groups, and brokers and consultants. To members, a good network is large, includes providers who are close to their homes or work locations, consists of providers they and their families want to use, and offer meaningful discounts.
But how do you figure out which network is "good"?
Four methods of analysis are widely used to evaluate networks:
- Network Counting
- Accessibility Analysis
- Disruption Reporting
